Yeah definatley not realistic.  But thats the way it fell, never happen though.

looking at some info again, Orlando Brown and Conor Williams are being ranked above or very close to McGlinchey as of right now. So its not too far fetched.

We've seen that we can have a top offense with the guys we have.  Cam won MVP with Jags.  We will still have Olsen, Funchess is really improving, and if Samuels comes back healthy we have a solid core....oh and we have this McCaffrey kid thats solid catching the ball.

The OL is looking better and better every week and dont think we should waste a high pick on one.

Our DBs are our biggest weak point.  Worley isnt a starter in this league, and Bradberry is solid but starting to loom more and more like a solid #2 guy.  He is great in coverage but has zero ballskills or instincts.

And that the biggest difference maker between now and 2015.  We had a ball hawk and the other dbs created among the top of the league in TOs giving this offense plenty of great field position.  Now we are at the bottom of the league in DB caused TO's, while we are helping the team by holding teams to few points.  We are not giving the offense any help by getting those TOs and great field position for the offense.

This is the type of draft that you trade up in due to lack of next level talent.

I’m not saying piss away the following years picks but we have 2 3’s that we could use to move up.

So with that said, I REALLY want to pair Funchess with...

Calvin Ridley.

Ridley runs some dirty routes and corners HAVE to respect his speed. Ridley creates a ton of separation and can stop on a dime.

He’s the perfect compliment to Funchess. He’s a legit deep threat that has the ability to run any route. There’s not a ton of those types of guys out there.

Donte Moncreif- under rated athletic WR who alot of us wanted to draft.

Star for 4 years 9 mil a year.

Pep (wouldnt let me reaign for under 5mil a year but hes said he will play for minimum to finish here, hes playing at 3.5 now)

Vey defensive draft here. Its looking like the 2018 Free Agents are going to be stacked at WR talent , I don't think we need to get any WR or RBs in this draft and if we do, it'll be low round prospect. Our defense is way too old, we are in dire need of a youth infusion at multiple positions on D.

  • R1P22 : Arden Key, DE, LSU
  • R2P22 : Clelin Ferrell , DE, Clemson
  • R3P17 : Troy Fumagali , TE, Wisconsin
  • R3P22: Quinton Meeks, CB, Stanford
  • R5P22: Dominick Sanders, S , Georgia
  • R6P22 : Michael Dieter, C , Wisconsin
  • R7P14: Desean Hamilton , WR, Penn State
  • R7P22 : Trey Marshall, S, Florida State

We make a suprise move and sign Sammy Watkins in Free Agency to start opposite Funchess. So basically all needs met besides OT. We may be playing Moton alot more at LT if Ryan Kalils performance continues to be sub par.

Also did a fun offense draft that would probably never happen considering last season we drafted offense in the top 3 picks. But if we did something simular again we could have an absolutely stacked offense.

  • R1P22 : Calvin Ridley, WR, Alabama
  • R2P22 : Nick Chubb, RB, Georgia
  • R3P17: Deon Cain, WR, Clemson
  • R3P22 : Troy Fumagali, TE, Wisconsin
  • R5P22: Carlton Davis, CB, Auburn
  • R6P22: Austin Bryant, DE, Clemson
  • Not even doing the 7th round, lets just say we traded our 7th rounders to move up a bit to snag Bryant in the 6th

We can't forget we have a number of picks from last year who didn't contribute much or at all this season and might contribute quite a bit next season if we're lucky. I think Samuel in particular could be crucial with a entire healthy offseason with Cam and there will be a great competion for the best #2, #3, and #4 WR slots . We might just go with the rookies/2nd years (besides Funchess), and cut Bersin, Byrd and Clay.

  • Curtis Samuel
  • Taylor Moton
  • Daeshon Hall
  • Corn Elder
  • Alex Armah (so basically fuging everyone from last year besides McCaffrey)

Good work man.  All those weapons would be nice if we can find an OT in FA.

LOL looks like Fumagalli is this year's draft huddle darling like Fournette was last draft, even tho he's going in the mid rounds somewhere most likely. And him missing a finger is gonna make him a later pick then you might think I'm guessing.

Round 1 Pick 26: Ronnie Harrison, SS, Alabama (B)
Round 2 Pick 26: Nick Chubb, RB, Georgia (A)
Round 3 Pick 19: Anthony Miller, WR, Memphis (A+)
Round 3 Pick 30 (PITT): Troy Fumagalli, TE, Wisconsin (B)
Round 5 Pick 3 (PITT): Chad Thomas, DE, Miami (FL) (A)
Round 5 Pick 26: Godwin Igwebuike, FS, Northwestern (B)
Round 6 Pick 26: Steve Ishmael, WR, Syracuse (A-)
Round 7 Pick 14: Iman Marshall, CB, Southern California (A+)
Round 7 Pick 26: Christian LaCouture, DT, LSU (A-)

I really woundlnt mind snagging a WR and a TE in the early rounds if we go mostly defense with the rest of our picks

Right now its looking lke there could be an early run on defense and a bunch of the WR could be pushed down the board. But if we make a deep playoff run they are likely all gone by the time week pick

Im still stacking on doubling up on safety and grabbing a CB

Cam has proven he can work with average weapons (see 2015).  Problem is our DBs still need as much work if not more than the WRs.

Funchess is better than what the huddle likes to think and has really started to show some promose this year in his first season getting major pt.he's still young too, only 6 months older than Calvin Ridley who many here would love us to draft.

Other thing to consider.  This years FA is much stronger on the WR side of the house vs DBs.

2018 FA WRs include: Devante Adams, Pryor, Watkins, Decker, Paul Richardson, Allen Robinson, Landry, Donte Moncrief, John Brown, etc.  Hurney has shown he is not afraid to throw around $$. So once he locks up our own guys that he wants to keep, he will peobably throw $$ that way to one of them.

The TE, I just dont see us grabbing another guy high this year with Olsen and Dickson.  We've had plenty of opportunity especially with this past class that was stacks.  And in FA when Olsen went down.  Just seems Rivera and Shula doesnt have a high priority on our TE2

So im still sticking with, if I were the GM

1. Ronnie Harrison

2. Trade up via using one of our 3rds: and grabbing Joshua Jackson

3.  Armani Watts

4. Trade up and grab: Pettis

5. BPA: a pass rusher prefferably with the age of ours.  My favorite later prospect IF he comes out is Porter Gustin

And then throw in my FA prospects

1. Moncrief

2. Aaron Lynch

3. Amukamara
