I honestly wasn't that impressed with peppers. stephon heyer is trash, he's quite possiblly the worst starting RT in the NFL,and ditto for Danthony Batiste.Heyer is absolutely terrible at runblocking and peppers shoving him back on the safety is evidence to that.

both are garbage.

Heyer routinely gets beat by scrub DE's. if it takes a motivational talk to get one of the supposed great DE's to beat Heyer you have a problem.

Peppers hasn't been that bad this year. Week 1 was still his best performance. He hasn't lived up to his paycheck but that is a near impossible feat. If the offense showed up each week Pep would have received much less poo ont he board.

and Pep's M.O. is to be spotty. He had a good game. If any "talk" has helped, we'll need at least 3 or 4 more games to really judge this. If it's just a good game here and there, well, I'm not going to sing those praises...

One guy who wasn't talking was LB Jon Beason, who seems to have been chastened after calling out teammate Julius Peppers on his weekly paid radio appearance on WFNZ.

Beason said he wasn't taking questions after the game. Asked why, he responded: "Because I don't want to."
