Don't know the exact snap counts but it looked like he played a huge role in run blocking today. No surprise we went over 200 rushing, though of course much of that was Cam. Armah cleared holes for those long Cam runs. We need to ride McC and CAP behind Armahgeddon and get Stew out of the gameplan. Armah also looked good in pass pro. Not sure if that illegal formation penalty was his fault or not, but even if it was overall he played a great game for a rookie FB. Better than Tolbert has looked since 2013. As I alluded to in my post. It was an illegal formation penalty called on Armah though watching it I'm not so sure it was on him. Either way all in all he played a great game.

Refs got it right. Moton reported eligible and Armah covered him. That’s a penalty. Not a big deal and a forgivable rookie mistake but it was the right call.

I thought he was lined up slightly below him and didn't cover him

I still don't understand the penalty.

He lined up next to the tackle.  He covered up the tackle who (I don't think) was an eligible receiver anyway.  The receiver on his right shoulder lined up behind the line.

Why was that a penalty?

Edit: So Moton reported eligible?  Then now I understand.
