Stewart kills the teams momentum every time he touches the ball

Stewart needs a stout line that has push to run behind. This Oline cannot get much push at all. He is not build for speed, but smash. Getting bottled up and stuck behind these guys asses on every running play is a waste of a down. Sending him wide is a waste of a down also.

This is just not a good Oline and that fact is highlighted by Stew getting stuffed on every power running play. CMC is small, fast and shifty enough to slip throigh the smallest gap. Unfortunately,  Stew is not that guy.

To be fair, I don't think McCoy, Gurley or Bell could run behind our line with much success. We have absolutely no push.

that said, Stewart has been pretty bad this year

How do you explain today then? Stewart was the only one who struggled.

I'm not saying it's impossible. But our QB is our leading rusher on the season and CMC didn't exactly have an earth shattering day on the ground. It's the first time we've rushed for 200 yards in a game since 2015. That's two seasons ago... are you telling me our line is fine and Stewart is the reason we struggle? Seriously? Lol

Cam was our leading rusher again. CMC had 66 rushing yards. Take away our QBs running ability and we have an average ground game today... my point remains valid

What's stupid is we can run the same kinds of plays when he's in as CMC, he's actually fast. He's just big so when you run him up the gut he's not going to squirm through-- CMC usually gets arm tackled.

if we actually did run stretch plays and were unpredictable or at least less, Stewart would have much better days then we see.

so I will say it again, he's not done, he's just done with this team.

we are not a power running team, we are more of a finesse team on offense or need to be with the line personnel we have,.. actually I don't know what we are with this line.

the problem is the coaches try to run like we are Dallas but we are not.
