Now that the trade noise has died down...(Offense Talk)

Now that 4.7 Benjamin is gone, Shula can't send him on any deep routes. Of course that leaves Funchess and the others. I think the Panthers will take several deep shots down the field against the Falcons. Maybe two chances with Samuel, 1/w Clay and 1/w CMC. Maybe this is the week we will finally see a wheel route with CMC. Everything really depends on the play of the O-Line and Shula's play calling. I'm hoping that Shula has the intelligence to line Samuel out wide with CMC in the slot to see how the defense reacts. If Shula calls the same old plays with different players, its going to be a long evening for the Panthers offense and a possible blow-out by the Falcons 34-13. However if Shula does show just a little creativity then the Panthers should win this one 28-21.

How bad would a 6--0 win be?

Think this is the worse case scenerio. Coaching staff feels like they’re doing well with a win and have nothing to improve. The bullshit hides behind a W.

A modest fan may enjoy that win much more than myself or others may here. As more hardcore fans look for the way the team is playing and implications it will have in a future/playoff type scenario, or even tough games to be considered playoff material.

And looking through that scope 6 points just isn’t going to get you anywhere in playoff time.

If we shutout Atlanta every Panthers fan should be thrilled. We can give the offense time, but if our D is that freaking good then we have a legitimate shot to win it all. As long as we get the W today I'm happy.

I would also like to issue a friendly reminder that Curtis Samuel has the 4th fastest 40 time in the last 6 years at the combine (4.31)

I think he finally breaks one for a TD against ATL's secondary.

Do you know were Taylor G time ranked on that top 6 list
