Does John Fox keep his job if the Panthers finish 7-9?

It would have been more frustrating if they were singing 'Hail to the Redskins' leaving the stadium.

I will say that sit with people who have owned PSLs from the very beginning. I've only owned them for 9 years.

For the very first time, i head these people say that if a loss is what it takes to get Fox out, they would take it.

The Redskins are bottom-feeders. This year we are the same. No execuse for it.

I hate it too, but I think that it will change over time. Getting to see so many Redskins fans reach such an emotional high and then crash and burn into a mob of sullen, gold and red clad emo kids shuffling out of BoA was the best part of their high attendance, though.

point taken!!

He's never had a record worse than 7-9, and by all accounts this season looks to be heading south of that record. A ridiculously tough schedule and a horrendous offseason (characterized by NO free agent signings!!! WIN!!!) have left the Panthers crippled out of the gate. Who does the blame land on? Well John Fox, who has already stated he expects to get fired.

But what if he pulls some wins out of his ass, and rallies the team to a 7-9 finish, like he did back in 2004? Think he'll get another pass? It's a similar situation, but not entirely. The '04 team was fresh off a Superbowl appearance and had a bad string of injuries, which contributed to a bad start. But the team rallied and came one win away from making the playoffs. The '09 team is coming off an implosion in the playoffs and is relatively healthy by most accounts. Will they rally? I think it starts today if they are going to, because at 0-4, the door is basically closed.

No, he has to go
