Charlotte and the Carolinas have plenty of dedicated Tarheel fans. Millions of them. Just because people have lives outside of the Tarheels does not mean they are not fans. Typical Carolina bashing as usual meanwhile the state of Chapel Hill keeps growing. Also, 28-3.

Fixed it for you.

Most actual studies show we're in the 10-20 range which I'm fine with. As a fan from the beginning, I can tell you we're 10000x better than we used to be. There essentially was no such thing as a Panthers fan from 1997-2002. We took a step forward from 2003-2005, but then we regressed like the team did from 2006-2010. Ever since Cam showed up though, we've matured and deepened in every way you can as an NFL fan base. Like you used to NEEEEVER hear us make noise in an opposing team's stadium, that now happens pretty often.

Panthers fans on social media have been trolling the Observer since early October because of the Jourdan Rodrigue stuff, the Joe Person stuff, and pestering all of their reporters. I find it interesting this article comes out right as they've been taking an assault from fans online.

Atlanta is probably the shittiest sports town in the United States. Nobody from that area can talk about sports nowhere. I mean they have the braves, hawks, thrashers, and falcons as their teams. All sad teams period. F u ck it if you want to go deeper Georgia sports is shitty all together. We got The Tarheels, Duke, Clemson, Panthers, and the Hurricanes.

If they'd lower the ticket prices, our fanbase would thrive.

They don't really give a sh!t though,  as long as someone pays, whether it be the affluent or corporations.

This is an excellent point and it is not limited to Panthers or the NFL. I enjoy going to Charlotte Knights games, the tickets are reasonable, but would probably stop going if Charlotte got a MLB team. The value for the dollar just isn't there.

Charlotte Fans are not fair weather we just dont have the history that other cities do, most fans here didnt grow up Panthers fans. we just getting to the were the first generation of adults were born fans, that type of history matters. I know tons of "Panther fans" that grew up Skins fans or Cowboys and still root for them.
