Don't think  Atlanta is known for its great fans.

Quote

Writer and Atlanta Falcons fan Matthew Chambers credited – or blamed – his premise on a single paragraph posted by the online niche publication Charlotte Agenda, which listed “fair-weathered” Panthers fans among the most annoying people in Charlotte. The paragraph accused fans of losing their enthusiasm when the team suffers a series of losses.

Quote

The Panthers will need some help to win on Sunday, and they probably aren’t about to get it from crowd noise from their weak fan base,” Chambers said, before going on to lambast both the entire city.

“The city is basically a giant Bank of America branch. The darkest moment of my life was being stuck in an unending conversation about banking with someone from Charlotte. I’m 80 percent certain Charlotte added a football team just so bankers could expense another event.

At least there was nothing quoted from here....lol

I don't disagree...  There are a lot of wimpy fans here.  They give up too quickly and early, lacking the dedication of the the more rabid fan bases.

Charlotte is just too laid back and too new at the sports scene.  The hardcore fans are there, but there aren't enough of them in the stadiums.  Those tickets are expensive.  I wish I could go back to the games, but money is just too tight.

Do you realize that about 30-40% of the PSLs in the upper level are own by ticket brokers?

Yes and I also realize opposing teams fans are willing to buy them more than Panthers fans.  Or are you suggesting they are off limits to Panthers fans somehow?  If so, thats an interesting development indeed and I retract my earlier statement.

If they'd lower the ticket prices, our fanbase would thrive.

They don't really give a sh!t though,  as long as someone pays, whether it be the affluent or corporations.

No, I'm not but why would a family of 4 Panthers pay triple face value to see the Panthers play the BIlls when they can spend half as much to watch the Panthers play the Bucs?

Fans of some of the opposing teams are going to spend the extra money every 4 or 5 years to watch their team play in Charlotte. Also, a lot of those ticket brokers partner up with the tour bus companies and sell them small sections of 30-40 seats.

This happens all around the NFL to be fair and isn't just a Charlotte problem.
