Beane did not call us last minute

That means it was even more well thought-out. The consideration was the haggling point, which goes to my biggest issue with the trade which was the third. Anyway,  Hurney probably said "fug it, let's do it." He seemed to really want to get rid of Benjamin.

Now we'll all get to see why. He'll either look like Bill extra lite,  or it will all blow up in his face.

Yea I am curious to know what the initial offer from the Bills was.  Seemed like they couldnt come up with a compromise on Monday, Bills didnt budge and Marty submitted, or maybe got an extra 7th out of it.

Again, you guys are arguing about who he didn't pick up when per Hurney himself he never intended to pick up anybody.

It's a moot point.

What difference does that make? They were negotiating at the last minute a trade that was first proposed one day before the deadline.

You're wasting your time citing facts and connecting the dots using logic around here. You'll either blow peoples' minds, it'll be like talking to a brick wall, or blow right over over their heads. It's usually an exercise in futility.

What a good gm would have done is had that TY Hilton deal done verbally hinging on the KB trade. Should have been bam bam. I would have sent Indy Buffalos 3rd and our 2nd. Pretty sure we could have gotten him for that.

Sorry but hes not worth that at a 8mil, 11mil, 13mil, and 14.5mil cap hit the next 4 years. As a talent he is great but you always have to factor  money into the situation to see if the talent matches up to the salary cap. Tom Brady is great but he is not great a 50 mil cap hit because hes going to have poo players around him. I would put Hilton's value at a 3rd rd pick based on the contract he has. He is only worth a 2nd and a 3rd if he had 2 years left on his rookie contract.

Ha, you got that right. Considering your point, I am an idiot for even engaging with such a poster. I took an L today for that.

Close your huddle window now, your lunch break is almost over

Your guys have an important division matchup tonight, how do you like your chances? Wanna spill some of that knowledge you have and breakdown the matchup?
