Yea CMC isn’t even close atm. He’s third at best on any ROY lists just among RBs. Watson is the OROY as of right now and it isn’t close.

LOL He’s not even top 3 for RB’s

Fournette, Hunt, Kamara And Jones all got him beat, he’s also  lucky Cook got hurt

Rigt now he’s with Tarik Cohen, and JuJu Smith Schuter is about to pass him.

Right now McCaffery is not even close to OROTY. He does however have a very strong case as Panthers' offensive MVP.

With Benjamin gone, I have a feeling McCaffery is going to become even more effective. I look for a big second half.

He literally is the Panthers offensive MVP through the hallfway point of the season. He leads the team in receptions by a mile , he leads the team in total yards gained by one player by a good bit, AND maybe most importantly has converted a ton of 1st downs and is a huge reason why the Panthers are #2  in the NFL in 3rd down conversions and #6 in the NFL in total first downs gained, which is an amazing stat considering how much the Panthers offense seems to be floundering week in and week out.

But as far as Rookie of the Year, no way in hell. Unfortunately, you have to have really high traditional stats on at least one typical catagory and the only one McCaffrey has is receptions (which incredibly he is #3 in the entire league ). He'd have to absolutely kill it in the 2nd half of the season and pratically double his usual per game receiving totals, and probably do much better rushing as well. Too much to ask for with our shotty online this year and dubious playcalling.
