Sneak Peak: Why Kelvin Benjamin Was Traded, And Why The Panthers Could Be Better Because Of It

And we got faster!  Whatever the hell that's supposed to mean.

I'm going to take a wait and see approach on the speed argument. I don't think this decision was made solely by Hurney. I don't think it was made this week. I would bet that it was made before training camp, when he was way too heavy and his commitment to taking care of himself and improving as a player was questioned by the staff - for good reason.

If his mother hadn't passed, this probably would have happened before Week 1. Might have actually gotten less for him.

Getting back to the speed... Many players play better when they aren't subbing in and out. Let's see how this goes with Samuel and Funchess out there for the majority of the snaps. If they had just flat out made Benji a sub player, everyone would have been griping about that, too.

Hurney's the guy right now. Maybe it's just til next summer, maybe longer. But I'd rather have him doing something than just sitting there doing nothing. He made mistakes, hopefully he learned something. He's the professional, not me.

So, what I hear you saying, is you are predicting the offense, which has struggled all season, will continue to struggle.

Way to go out on a limb.

Ontop of that, you're taking it out on Saca.

I can see why you don't expect much, you don't bring much.

LOL, I bring honesty.  While Saca brings unbridled positivity when there is no positivity that exist.  Please stop.

Maybe I should've just said please stop, or yeah okay.  Like everyone else in this Thread.

I can point to five panthers analysts who watch film as well say daryl williams is bad and panthers give him too much help.

Panthers analysts?  You mean, like Twitter people?  Or people that get paid for a living to do this?  Because, those are two totally different things.

You're delusional if that's what how you feel.

I'm delusional for thinking our HC, OC, and QB Coach, GM, and lastly our Owner are ruining our Franchise?  Alrighty, welp, I'm delusional like the rest of the reasonable fans of this team.  Thanks guy.  :eyeroll:

we ain't the Browns or Bills or a host of other teams that have achieved much less success in recent times.

ruining is a bit much.  We definitely need better leadership/direction than what we have been getting of late.  The GM situation does show a lack of vision.

We could get there if this keeps up, man.  Jerry is getting a little ridiculous with his moves.

Had the Panthers benched KB, he would have gone into a funk and quit. Cam would have had a hissy fit as well.

Had they benched Funch, he becomes a wasted player.

The Panthers unloaded a redundant talent with questionable motivation and a bad knee, saved 8+ million dollars in cap space, and got two draft picks to boot.

Believe it or not, sometimes locker room politics really do tie coaches hands.

Just because you watch “film” yada yada yada doesn’t mean you understand what you’re watching.

I can go dig up some clips of Funch being blanketed by corners just as you show one clip of KB being covered.

Youve admitted to “still learning” the game but when you argue you completely base your opinion on what some of the Panthers Twitter people post.

Last year you used PFF to try and argue with me we had a top 5 OL now this year you finally realize PFF is trash for OL. I’d respect Saca’s takes a lot more if they were 100% his own.
