That is the only possible good that can come of this. I have zero faith in Hurney drafting a good player in the 3rd.

I doubt it, Samuel is still a very raw and a rookie to boot. Shepard will most likely take a bigger role 

 

As of now we have the second worst WR core in the NFL.

I don't really buy into all that. 

Plenty of rookies have come in and had success right away in the league. 

Until he actually gets actual PT and has a decent sample size of targets, we do not know if he is raw or what.

RR just said two weeks ago that he was asking Samuel and the other new guys to do too much and they needed to simplify things for him, so we get rid of our most seasoned receiver. 

I sadly don't see another WR, that has done nothing all year to this point, suddenly break out. It's gonna be 1, 2, 3, punt pro from here on out.
