With all the heat on Marty is there anyway he made this move on his own I for some reason think this was the work of Ron Rivera maybe he sees 2015 Cam when  KB isn't out there there's no dam way Marty did this am I tripping for thinking this was really a Ron move Marty is eating because what four month interim does this anybody else feel or think Ron wanted  his MVP back and had to axe his bff to get it?

edit: I believe Cam plays find the open man better without KB out there myself

Just now, Mr. Scot said:

The official story was that the Bills called at the last minute and made the offer. Marty took it with 3 minutes left till the trade deadline.

That doesn't exactly leave a lot of room for consultation.

I read that and thought you know Rons terrible time management issue he probably put him up to it last minute and using that spin not to get crazy backlash from the team especially with our strong core of veterans.

But yea if that's true three minutes to negotiate man come on I wonder why we are hearing knees shot which I can believe but they called us and we shipped him because he's knees were shot what that's sounds flakey.

I don't really think it's complicated.

Marty got an offer and he took it. That's pretty much it.

No. Beane was on NFL radio tonight. He talked to Marty the day before expressing interest. They said what they'd give and they couldn't come to an agreement after lots of back and forth. It didn't look good to get done. Today around 2 Marty called and they worked out a deal. Put it to the NFL after. Took 2 hours to hammer it out and do the paperwork.

We were leveraged for a 3RD & 7TH round pick for a proven yet fattish 28th overall pick.

No comp mid playoff run season.  Sounds like we're just cool with an "interim" guy getting these type of deals done.

If this poorly affects the players, this will be a Drumpf level sh*tshow.

Kudos for the  info on the process. It honestly doesn't make me feel any better about the trade, though.

Major intel and with that after two days we only got a 3&7 they'd weak on our part seems like we were going to trade him for less how tf is that possible. No one thinks this was a Ron move maybe I'm overthinking it just seems like this comes from a different place like the he has to come in, in shape type of place. Marty was still doing boring radio weekly or something during offseason workouts

    • I like that a lot; Ware from Troy and also Khalil Mack who played at University of Buffalo
    • I remember the Huddle consensus over the course of last season and the previous one. Lots of Bryce is a bust, we should've drafted a 4th slot WR, should've kept Wilks, should've kept an armless Cam, etc etc. So... yea... already thought about that. I wouldn't trust the Huddle to detail my car, let alone run a multi-billion dollar professional sports team. 😛
    • bold prediction, I think Mike Green will be the best pass rusher in this class, and thats even with abdul carter.  He reminds me of demarcus ware, not just in size and prowess, but even coming from a Sunbelt school (Ware from Troy, Green from Marshall).  I think he is passionate about the sport where I think Carter as the physical freak might not have the heart.  Thats the guy Im sold on and am gonna hammer the table for, I know he's not projected 8, but he is projected like 12-13, so if a slide back can happen and we still get the guy I want, I'm 100% on board. All that said, it takes 2 to tango, I think the Cowboys are the tango-er.  IMO theres a VERY good shot that Jeanty is available at 8.  Why does that matter?  Not only do the cowboys NEED a runningback (dak sucks without a run game), but MORE importantly, gee where did Jeanty play in high school.....Frisco TX, literally Dallas Metro.  Soo, RB is a position of need and the best RB and most blue chip draft selection that  could improve the offense immensly played IN dallas metro AND will be in range for them to move up and pick?  Do ya think Jerry Jones is gonna just say no to the Jersey Sales?  Jerry might have sexually assaulted a woman and attempted to prevent black people from going to school, but he's no idiot (he is).  IMO, we get a good enough package, prlly their first and third,  maybe a conditional later and we move to 12.  We get Green, they get Jeanty, everbuddy happy.
