Star/Norwell > KB

Let’s get this baffling move down to its simplest terms. We freed up almost $10M in cap space. In the end it comes down to whether you wanted an average to slightly above average WR or two potential centerpieces at their position.

After seeing Butlers contributions this year so far I’m 100% certain Star is indispensable. That is without question anymore. Also at the rate we are going any offensive lineman that has a pulse and can at least give us a good meme every now and then deserves a spot.

After careful consideration, I could care less about the picks we got. The salary cap freed up to sign these two pivotal positions is worth its weight in gold.

This retard actually thinks Hurney planned any of this in any sort of way even though it's been confirmed by the man himself that it was a spur of the moment trade.

This idiot also thinks keeping KB would have cost us either Star or Norwell. They were not mutually exclusive. We could have had KB this year and still kept Star and Norwell next year.

There’s other ways to free up 10 mill than to trade our only WR for nothing to keep that terrific OL of ours together

The guys on pace for 950 yds and 4 tds this season. If he’s our ‘only receiver’ than duck us anyways

Hurney just well known for being a poo stain cap manager so he's just getting ahead of the game.

Ya know...after he's been lapped 10 times and the game is long over. Like....HS glory days over. Like...you didn't even start in peewee over.

In 10 WR draft picks over 11 years, Hurney never drafted a 950/4TD WR.

you just wrecked that guy rofl...

Also none of our offensive weapons have or are on pace for that other than him so....rofl

I do love how people think they have a point when they got poo.

I’m not being an a$$ right now but who drafted mushin Muhammad and Steve smith? If not Hurley then I’m completely blanking on who our GM was then. And this is. Serious question

    • I just switched to prime video with fanduel south. Will I be able to watch the Canes playoff games still?
    • I mean, you can use that "logic," but the problem is that most practice squad players, backups or average guys don't put the play on film that Wharton did when given their opportunities.  Perhaps you'll end up right, but I don't think that just because a guy has been in a rotation makes him inherently less productive because he gets more snaps. I will say that the KC fans I've seen on social media loved him, and considered him their second best DT,  regardless of his "rotational" status, and generally considered him a dawg, so I'm going to give him the benefit of doubt until he shows otherwise.
    • Did I miss something?  The people we have developing players now are not the ones we've had in the past so I don't know what the heck people are talking about when they say we are not good at developing players right now.  We only have one year to go on.  Canales likes young players or players who are on an upward trajectory, especially in FA this year.  Past QB's and what he's done with Bryce are good examples. Tershawn Wharton - 26 Tre'von Moehrig - 25 Pat Jones II - 26 Bobby Brown III - 24 Michael Jackson - 28 Jaycee Horn - 25 Tommy Tremble - 24 We missed on Milton Williams but he's 26. Everyone else we picked up are on 1 year deals.  The Panthers new front office and Canales absolutely scream developmental team. Pick 8 (stay) Tier 1 Elite - Abdul Carter, Travis Hunter and Mason Graham Tier 2 Elite - Jalon Walker, Mykel Williams, Will Johnson Trade down: There are quite a few really good players that fit us at Edge, DT, S and WR mid to late 1st and high 2nd.  Some combos that would be possible that I really like.  Imagine getting 2 of these guys by trading down. Stark, Pierce Jr, Golden, Scourton, Grant, Emmanwori, Ezeiruaku, Umanmielen, Deone Walker, Harmon and this is just off the top of my head.
