Cap shined on his 1 series last game, and was never seen again. You are fooling yourself if Shula is going to do anything but move Funchess to 1 and Shepard/Samuel to 2. This team does not play make adjustments for talent in the offseason, do you think these idiots will figure it out mid-season?

If we moved CMC to slot full time, that'd make us look even dumber because we drafted Samuel to have that role. Drafting 2 slot guys with picks 1 and 2....? Not a great idea

What makes us look dumb is trading a first round pick mid season for a 3rd and 7th round pick...

McC cannot and will not be a full time outside receiver this year. Maybe he could be developed into one, but he doesn't have any of those skills yet. Maybe start Samuel and Funchess outside with McC in the slot full time.

Also agree with this statement haha nothing about this trade makes sense... nothing. The only thing I can think of is they weren't going to keep him long term for whatever he was asking and wanted to make sure they got something. Maybe they went back and looked at the tape from 2015 and watched what we did without him and figured what we have on the roster currently can equal that or better... who knows? I'm trying to be optimistic about this, but it's hard, he was the first player I wanted us to draft in 1st round, and we actually drafted.  I will say I think KB is one of the laziest route runners I've ever seen, but his upside is through the roof with proper coaching and a qb throwing him open. Funchess is nowhere near the upside KB has, but that is what we're stuck with, so.... fug it, let's finish 13-3

Christian is already being targeted quite a bit. I don't think moving him to a dedicated receiving role will help this offense.

It will if they start throwing passes to him more than two feet beyond the line of scrimmage.

were trying to use clay now as ginn to copy 2015 style but we were so different in 2015. why not trade him and get glenn too? or get jordan matthews? there was better ways we sold kb for cheap its bs
