Why is an interim GM making these moves?

I know it's Hurney and it seems like he will be staying long term but even with the facade of an interim, why permit major moves like this?

What is your opinion on the matter regarding the pecking order in decisions being made right now?

I gave Hurn to much credit, I assumed he'd do nothing as some kind of long game to get his job back. It would be for nobody's benefit but his own, but hey, it's a plan.

Because he has GM powers...trading away Kelvin I don't mind but the compensation is unacceptable...good news is this could mean Hurney won't be GM when we see how ass the offense can REALLY become.

 

Some of this is on Big Cat also he should have just fired Gettleman and promoted Brandon BEFORE FREE AGENCY/THE DRAFT!!!!

Kelvin was a late 1st rounder, pick 28 in 2014. 

4 years later, he is definitely worth a 3rd rounder absolutely take it and a 7th. Devin Funchess produces similiar, if not just as much and is 4 years younger, its a no brainer.

I wonder if the head coach was consulted on this decision at all or was this completely Hurney's decision.

It seems unbelievably stupid to me to give up your #1 WR for mid rounders in the future when you have a winning record.

Devin Funchess hasn't produced half as much as Kelvin.
