Negative take- The panthers got bamboozled on this one. Only a 3rd and 7th in return?

Positive take- On the field I don’t know if it makes that big of an impact with funchess already getting #1 targets. Hopefully this will get Samuel and/or Clay into the game plan more and one of them eventually turns into a Ted Ginn 2.0 that can cause nightmares for every defense. That’s the only positive spin on this

That's a fair point. Although the benching would lower his value if they did decide to trade him later.
