Panthers just traded KB to Buffalo for 2018 3rd and 7th round picks

Why didn't they just trade him straight up for watkins before the season. That would have made sense.

7. If we do still need another guy, especially a possession type, he's a phone call away if he's recovered and in shape. Cheap too, and money on third down.

KB is averaging 4 for 60 this year.  He has 2 TDs in 8 games.  I think these numbers cam be improved upon.
