I get everyone's mad but...

we went to the superbowl without KB.

I get everyone's mad but...

you think we're actually gonna draft a player with BUF's 3rd?  We're gonna use it to move farther up in the draft.

Don't see the problem funch is basically his replacement anyway

we also went to the Superbowl with Mike Remmers who was complete trash..

the front office f*cked up..

With Hurney running the ship only SB this team will see is from their sofas.

This probably isn't the time to be rational on the Huddle, and I haven't had time to digest it, but a few FACTS with a dash of opinion come to mind:

1. This place melted down when Benji went out in 2015. Cam went on to spread the ball around, was NFL MVP, we went to the big show, and our receivers weren't the reason we lost.

2. Funch is clearly better this year, is younger, and cheaper. He's similarly sized. Do we need two relatively slow giants as a one and two, or should number two bring something else to the table?

3. KB showed up to camp physically unprepared.

4. Through the first seven games, he wasn't putting up WR1 numbers, not even close.

5. Cam was still locking onto Benjamin when decent chunks and first down yardage could easily have been had if he had thrown to wide open short/intermediate receivers.

6. To evolve, we need to change our passing game. Young as most are, we still have a full complement of receivers. The two rookies need to be used differently. This might force the issue, e.g., CMC to the slot, or wide for that matter. More targets for Samuel too.

7. If we do still need another guy, especially a possession type, he's a phone call away if he's recovered and in shape. Cheap too, and money on third down.

I don't think this was Hurney's move, I really don't. Why would Hurney trade away arguably Cam's best receiver mid season when he's trying to impress? The offense is already struggling.

The only other person who could initiate something at this level is Rivera.

Voth's comment from Hurney though would seem to confirm he was behind it.
