Panthers just traded KB to Buffalo for 2018 3rd and 7th round picks

This trade makes no sense if we dont pick up another WR in exchange. The draft isn't until fuging April of NEXT YEAR. Which means in terms of this season and this year, we just gave away our best receiving threat for nothing.

I get Benjamin has some pretty major holes in his game, but I have a hard time understanding how this makes us better over the next 8 games? 

There's a report that Benjamin walked out of practice on the Wednesday before the Bears game based on frustration over his knee... only way this makes sense is if he had become a cancer behind the scenes and walking out of practice was the final straw.

They need to get more speed on the field.  They probably couldn't just bench KB because he would whine like a bitch and be a distraction.  This may work out.  I just hope we get someone in the organization that has a clue what to do with that third before the draft next year.

This needed to happen in the offseason. Thing is we would've also needed to go get a true #1. We need to go after Hilton.

It's a shock, but I'm ok with letting the dust settle on this. Our blend of skillsets at WR here were difficult to figure out. Funch has had a solid year and Sheppard has been open SOOOOO much this year but overlooked by Cam because he def looks KBs way too often. 

We have a good history without KB, so I don't get all of the doom and gloom. I do think this speaks more to JRs view of Hurney and the direction this franchise goes upstairs..... which is not good. But letting KB go before he is do a hefty paycheck is not a bad move. 

Time for Shep, Samuel and Clay to step up. We did bring Clay back...... maybe there's chemistry there with Cam from preseason/practices.

Kb or Funchess had to go, the fact that we drafted both was a bad decision itself, the offense we run currently isn't built for the possession receiver type, I would have rather kept KB but with his contract coming up and etc I'm guessing that's another reason. Only wish we would have made a move for hilton or even landry. I'm eager to see how this plays out however, i'm optimistic
