He almost certainly DID have an abnormal heart rhythm when he was examined. That doesn't necessarily mean that there's a serious underlying issue, it just means more examination is required. Upon further examination, he was cleared. Other short-term and/or relatively minor issues can cause a temporary abnormal heart rhythm.

Ajayi's knees probably are a ticking timebomb but for a 4th round pick it's worth it to try to shore up a Super Bowl roster.
