For me it's where he was drafted that's bugging me so much. Looking at the players just below our pick are playing very good ball as rookies and are making immediate impacts. 

During the draft my wants were Soloman Thomas, Jamal Adams, Derek Barnette, Marshawn Lattimore, Malik Hooker, OJ Howard. To me every single one of those picks would have been better than CMC for us. 

I have never seen a "evolution" of an offense with new weapons to be used without changing the OC too. Our offense was never going to use CMC or Samuel properly in my opinion. At least with the other picks it would have shored up weaknesses and they would fit in our already existing systems without getting rid of Shula. 

It just felt like that pick was trying to put a square peg in a round hole considering who we are as a team. 

I want CMC to do well with us but so far it feels like we wasted a high pick which we haven't had since Star.

CMC was completely not worth 8th overall, and I and several others on here said as much. That said, it is what it is at this point and I am rooting for him to prove me wrong there.

Thought he'd be a decent player, mind you, but I had late 2nd/early 3rd on him.

I preferred the approach that brought us podcasts, etc. I'm not a fan of the "here's some bad plays, now everyone hate this guy". It's just contributing to a overall constantly negative tone.
