We still have Mike " I snatch defeat from the jaws of victory" Shula to worry about.  We'll get to you turds around Friday afternoon when Cam walks out of another PC.

Funny enough at this point I'd consider shula over Dark the impotent offensive shark.

Honestly the Falcons are a good study on how important and OC can be. Falcons have one of the best ever offenses, then next year with a different OC but same personnel....trash heap.

Welp were still in that trash heap with Shula and oh hey look another run on first down right up the middle. Ya know the same exact play we do on every 1st down ever. Gotta keep the defense on their toes.

yea the Panthers will draft a DT and a LB in the first and second rounds as well. tired schtick.

Well , you have to give gettleman credit for at least trying to inject some juice in our offense in using the first 3 picks on offense players last year.

This year, we don't even know who the GM will be come draft time, and at this point have no idea what our draft position is going to be. I'm guessing we go 10-6 and we pick somewhere in the 20s , pretty low and yea probably some defensive player. Most of the marquee offense 1st rounders get snatched up before pick 20.

Actually going by current projections, there's going to be alot of DEs sitting around in the late 1st and all of our DEs are old besides Dashon Hall . I wouldn't be suprised if we picked up a DE in the 1st and a saftey in the 2nd.

For my fantasy team's dignity, I need the Falcons to remember that they have Julio on the team.  Just not this weekend.

Unfortunately I draft him every season as well. This was supposed to be the year we got him more rz touches, but what can you do when you have a clown for an OC?

Maybe this will be the game he has 300 yards :)

    • Yeah but jumping up in the draft to get a project #2/3 WR is just plain not smart. I am down on XL because the thought was that he could be a potential #1 WR and he has been anything but that so far. Also, the idea of him as a slot is even more upsetting because you pass on several more productive slot guys(McConkey being the most obvious) that were TREMENDOUSLY more NFL ready. I was not a fan of the XL move at the time and I am not a fan of the decision in short term hindsight either. He is just simply going to have to be a guy that proves it on the field to me. McMillian was my #1 WR in this draft and I was a pro-McMillian guy. However, he isn't gonna get treated with baby gloves either. We are in the era of rookie WR's putting up 1k+ yd seasons with regularity. He's going to(barring injury) have to be one of the top 2 or 3 WR's in this class in terms of production. And that's being very generous to him. He really needs to be THE guy from this class. It isn't like he is gonna have a lot of guys taking catches away from him.
    • Thought this was an interesting moment of candor. See the 2:00 min mark. TD said he made the decision that he wanted T-Mac as our 1st round pick back in January. Dan chimed in and said he made the decision early as well (indicating the same time frame).
