"No one can cover Christian McCaffrey 1 on 1"

That's why I don't believe in drafting a running back in the top 10.

Nor I...typically.

However, I really thought our offense was about to turn a corner out there, and both Samuel and CMC could help turn that boat a little faster.

Little did I realize that we are manning an aircraft carrier, not a ski boat.

10 catches for 54 yards isn’t be force fed?

Would he be better in NO? Of course, would he better than Kamara ? Hell no, Kamara is a better version of Mccaffrey

BTW he’s not on pace for 1000 yards, and take away the one game where he got 100 garbage time yards and his yard per game go way down.

Oh you mean Cam is forcing it to Mac because our offensive line is poo and nobody has a chance to get open?

Also this mentality of “take one game away and he’s average” is retarded. First of all eight games is a small sample size which my original post alluded to and this argument has been used against our #1 wr.

This offense sucks, and Mac is still finding ways to move the chains and get open. Nobody is running behind this line, not even fournette would have the numbers he has in Jax with this line.

I’m really not trying to downplay his lack of breaking tackles, I think most of us knew this was him for the most part. I’m just not gonna sit here and call him a bust or unworthy of a top ten pick when the entire offense as a whole is dysfunctional, and Mac has consistently moved the chains for us in crucial situations.

Tough day for cmc apologists. Another crappy performance AND trump campaign officials are getting indicted.

Gonna need to gather their buddies and find a solitary minority to assault just to get that frown off their face.

Sooo... basically, anyone that doesnt think CMC sucks is a racist Trump supporter that assaults minorities to relieve stress?  Got it.

Thank you for the insightful post.

I got it.  But, we should've gave the Jags what they wanted.  Leave me alone, I'm just pissed we have Rex Burkhead.  :(

Rex burkhead has 46 career receptions.  How are they similar again? Cause they're both white?

I was dying when I read his post.  People on the left will do anything to push their political agenda lol.  Does anyone know if there is a "mute" feature on the huddle to hide posts from unwanted users?  Or can we just all agree to not bring politics into whether our first round pick is a bust?

Cam is forcing him the ball cause Shula and Rivera are hell bent on making sure he doesn’t bust.

No and taking the one “anomaly” away makes perfect sense. He hasn’t even come close to 100 yards since then.

Nobody is running behind the line except CAP had 11 yards on his first carry. Should had 20 yards in 4 carries if it wasn’t for the flag. I know for a fact Fournette would have out produced Mccaffrey with this same line.

He was never worthy of a top 10 pick, slot receiver/scat backs never get drafted in the top 10.

halfway through the season , its not looking good for him at all. The only thing I can say in his defense is he's not getting that many chances rushing wise, but then you could argue they would probably keep feeding him the ball if he was getting 5+ ypc.

He's not had great yards after the catch, but in terms of just getting open and catching the football he's been great. I think Cam should look his way more and CMC should be on the field 75% of the time either out wide or in the slot. He'd be killing it with a more accurate QB and a west coast offense. Dude is not a running back but would be an excellent #2 WR on a number of other teams I would think.

It also wouldn't be as bad with Greg Olsen on the field.

I just have a different value running backs. It's not cuz I under value them, quite the opposite actually. Just not in the top 10 picks of the draft.

In the end, without CMC and his receptions yesterday, we don't score the 2 TDs that we did.  He was key to moving the chains on our 2 TD drives.

He thrives out of the slot yesterday, especially when they would slide a LB out to cover.

I warned everyone about drafting Mccaffrey, but nobody wanted to listen. Never draft a Stanford RB, complete system players.

He already lost PR duties to Clay, and I’m kind of hesitant about  him playing slot, cause a good nickel corner could lock him up

How did Clay look on punt returns? ( Did not get to see game.)
