You're cherry picking.   I just see him as more of a Welker type of guy INMYOPINION. That's got a little bit to do with skill but more to do with personality.

If it's Welker vs. Edelman then yeah, please give me Welker all day everyday.

Edelman is a good player, but Welker is possibly the greatest slot receiver ever.

Samuel has 1 drop in 14 targets along with the brutal pitch drop.

Jonathan Stewart leads the league in drops, despite having received only 11 targets all season !!!

CmC, meanwhile, is 3rd in the NFL in receptions, 2nd in the NFL in YAC, 1st among all NFL running backs in 1st down receptions and has not dropped a pass all season...and the kid is open on virtually every pass play.

Not bad for a "struggling rookie"...

I believe has caught all the passes he should have caught. You are asking him to make the difficult catches which I would agree he hasn’t. Which is why I said they look solid. When he’s open it’s not like he’s dropping passes... he makes the open catches, slants comebacks he’s been money on those.

So did Bersin~

I guess I'll just keep saying it until it becomes part of the narrative.  No Panther has been consistently impressive so far. This offense would make 2012 AP look like Trent Richardson.  Didn't matter if we drafted Kareem Hunt or Alvin kamara this would be the same thread just different names.

I’d blame the players but when it seems like they all miss there’s got to be something else going on.

This.

If it was constantly the same guy or two then sure but it’s a few different guys on any given play.

Whatever Shula is trying to do it’s clearly not working and it’s clearly not making any sense to the players.

Instead of holding Shula accountable Rivera says “we so close”. Well it’s been 8 games and if you think guys missing easy assignments after 8 games is a talent problem then we’re doomed. It’s the coaches jobs to make sure the players understand where they need to be and who their assignment is.
