I would trade Funchess and a late rounder.  Just saying...We would have someone defenses would respect deep and can get open quickly.  KB and Hilton would be unreal.

this is not the Panthers way I dont think i have ever seen them make a big trade mid season not recently anyway but he is exactly the type of player that is lacking in this offense

And itll be worth it. Guy almost had 1500 yards last season and was over 1300 in 2014 and also has had over 1000 every year since 2013.  He is what this offense has been sorely missing for years. Speed AND hands.

Hurney trades away a pick (2-4rd) takes the cap but extends the deal with max money backloaded so we won’t have to worry about it for like 3 whole years.

We don't have Tom Brady making the reads and throws back there (no offense to Cam) so it doesn't really matter who we put out there.

Exactly. We just spent a 2nd on a WR with big potential as well as McC top 10, and Funch and KB coming into their own. We're good at offensive skill position. We just need a competent offensive coaching staff.

Price is right you have to do it, regardless of contract. He solves so many problems for our offense

Long term reality is that this team won't be a contender in a few years. Luke and Cam are having major health problems. Greg/TD/Peppers/Johnson/Ryan/Stew are all at the end of their careers. Massive coaching problems and an OC thats essentially wasting years.  I think we've got to be in win now mode over the next two years
