Yea, we are missing Ginn bad, I mean, he was essentially our #1 receiver, not in terms necessarily of his production, but just how he impacted the offense in totality.

And Olsen

oj howard would have done a lot more for this offense than Mccafrey

not his fault. Wrong coordinator. Wrong QB

It's a NFL wide happening.

Watching the Dallas and Washington game right now and 3 and 7 they go long for a miss.

When all you armchair quarterbacks win a NFL game you should come in here and tell us how not just the Panthers, but all the NFL teams, should handle their 3rd downs.

Maybe someone that watches the coaches film can add some perspective but why don't we send Samuel on some of those deep routes? Do we and Cam simply doesn't look his way?  Funchess and Benjamin are primarily the guys we see on those routes and they're just too slow to get separation.  I know they targeted Samuel deep one time today and he did beat his man but Cam had to scramble and was late getting the ball out.  Didn't see it tried again.

FWIW, reports are that TY Hilton might be on the trade block...

Don't have to be an armchair QB to see that Peyton Manning, Eli Manning, Joe Flacco, Big Ben, Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, and Russell Wilson (winners of the previous 14 super bowls) can make the right decisions while Cam simply can't.

All of those QBs regularly take the check down throws and keep the chains moving. Until Cam shows he can consistently do that, we will not win a Super Bowl. And since that is the ultimate goal of the NFL, we should move on from Cam before the rest of the NFL figures out he is poo.

The point of the deep receiver is to pull the defense away from the receivers underneath it's just Cam only sees one option and that's throw it deep. He just locks onto a receiver nevermind the rest of the guys on the field. SCREW reading the defense who does that in the NFL am I right?

well, you are not wrong.  It's almost like Cam wants to do what the man says\...

Well they also made mistakes and had bad games down the stretch..

any name on your list would struggle if the o line is leaving holes instead of making them. I bet kb fan could back this up with pretty charts- games we win / o line pressures sacks allowed vs games we lose / same.

Just lol at posters saying Cam is not a dink / dunk QB or can not hit wide open receivers short. He can do it. He does it every game. Just doesn't do it often and instinctually first.

Like another poster said, if an NFL QB can't do it they need to find another job.

That deep bomb is the lowest % pass in football. Someone here mentioned it but it is primarily to keep the D honest and force 1 to 2 S's back for help.
