It's a reference to the location, nothing more. Chesterfield County. Congrats on trying to make it into something that it isn't, which is exactly what the bulk of the thread debate is about.

Cam, TD, Stew, hell, 75 percent of the NFL are not white. How often do you see Davis or Stewart, etc. surrounded by controversy? You don't. Why not? Answer: Behavior, attitude, et al. The bulk of Cam's problems with regard to how people of many "colors" perceive him has little, if anything, to do with racism...simple and plain.

You have a good point, but 5,4,3,2,1...before TheRed twists into something like white fans enjoy watching the players beat the crap out of each other.

Oh yeah. Why can't people just, if only once in awhile, take things at face value? Cam is taking shots because he is putting himself in  that position (as I am even participating in a thread like this...never again after this one). Davis, Stewart and Co. don't because they carry themselves in an entirely different manner. It isn't racism that's the prime root of the problem.

Contrary to the blatant racism exhibited by some posters here, and their allies, all white people are not racist... in any way, shape, or form. Most judge people individually. Finally, everybody from around here likes watermelon, and the only reason most would drive to Pageland SC and vicinity, is to pick one, because they grow them like nobody else anywhere. That is all I meant, and what I did a lot of the times when I visited there, primarily in July 'cause that's when they are ripe. Only on the Huddle could people dredge up a stereotype from the days of the Little Rascals and use it for cannon fodder in an attempt to short circuit the point: Cam's primary problem with media is...Cam.

Football is entertainment. 75% the make up has nothing to do with it. Majority of the Qbs, coaches a b d owners are white. It is no more than slave owners. Cam is the first blk qb that could probably change and take ownership in what has always white captian of the ship. Fear that white power is starting ro slip...just this morning i watched the tennessee kkk march protest..they interviewed one guy who was part of the clan.. said he was teaching his kids proud to be white...the reporter then asked the kid...the kid repeated what his dad said proud to be white...reporter asked kid what did that mean ..kid shrugged..didnt even know....what they hell does that mean proud to be white..hell you shouldnt have to teach it..tou havent been oppressed. So what does that mean? Why would u even have to teach that?

I think what xav8tor is trying to say is all he wants is for Cam to act like a "normal" person.

"normal"

I mean, just look at Russell Wilson as an example...

Wrong again. If you can't see that Cam has shot himself in the foot, repeatedly, then you're in denial. I have yet to see anyone refute the contention that his behavior plays a large role in his perception issues. It's just too easy to play the race card, while being a racist at the same time by calling anyone, including everyone of the same color, who disagrees, a racist. For the 100th time, what about his own veteran and Captain teammates of the same race? Why don't they take even a remote fraction of the flak Cam does? It's not for a lack of opportunity.

People have different personalities and just bc Cam is different does not mean he is wrong. There is more than 1 way to get the sum of 10.. none of them is wrong as long as they equal 10 unless cwrtain conditions have to be met... People are so use to Qbs behaving a certain way , looking a certain way..it is the same reason Cams in game playing is so biased. He is big he is strong plus he is blk and he shows it flaunts it ( attitude). He plays QB there are no rules to size, color, strength, but those traits that Cam has that should be advantages are really disadvantages when in the pocket y?  It is the same with Cam off the field as well. He is held under a microscope at all times. No one gets as much flack as he does and they make sure to highlight all the negatives. Why is that? Race definitely plays apart.. maybe not everybody bc not everyone is prejudice...

Thank you for acknowledging that everyone, regardless of color, or any other class description, is not prejudiced. I think we all can agree to that, except one or two posters here who continue to insult an entire race, that really isn't even a race at all. A lot of us, more like  most, are a mixture. A few people here should look up Jamaica's national motto and ponder it for awhile. I'll save everyone the trouble since the game is about to start:

"Out of many, one people"

Closer to home, you can find almost the exact sentiment in Latin on a coin in your pocket. Why can't we actually live it? Contrary to the reading comprehension compromised replies of some posters, I bear it in mind often.
