This type of stuff happens a lot.  Whether or not I like or dislike a coach, I do not like  what "fans" do publically to malign another person. Besides having no consideration for that person....that coach also has a family who is hurt by all of this. In every case, I am sure the coach...including Shula, is trying his best to do a good job. Even if he, or any coach is not succeeding, the public "stoning" is just not right, IHMO.

You seemed to have no issue throwing this mindset out the window when it was time to criticize Cam Newton about his job performance.

Saquon Barkley looks like he should win the Heismann and probably in the first 5 picks of the draft. He'll have to hope the Browns dont scoop him up, alot of early mocks are saying he goes to 49ers, even though browns and 49ers already have decent backs, maybe they're set to hit FA and the teams rather go with more talent for cheaper (Barkley).

It’s not that serious. If anyone sucks at their job they should be fired, we as fans can express that, get over it and yourself. ‘Humanity’ is a far reach when talking first world million dollar sports lol.

Does suck for Shula though I mean he can’t just quit with dignity, too bad he has to work for Jerry’s slow dilusional ass.

I did not advocate making signs for TV or having a plane pull a banner.  You guys did not read what I said.  I did not say that Shula does not deserve criticism..it is the public demonstrations that are not  just  critical but wanting to denigrate someone..be it Shula or any coach of any team.  Some of you are reading what you want into what I said.

Questioning Newton's abilities as a man to be a leader of other men sounds a lot like denigrating someone.

What do you not get about PUBLIC demonstrations?

As a man?  I said nothing about that.  I did say that he was not acting as a leader of this team.

We can disagree about issues without it being personal.

Questioning him as as leader is questioning him as a man because there is nothing to suggest he isn't a leader of the team. His teammates clearly respect him and feed off his tenacity as a competitor. You can see this with how he interacts with his teammates.

If you think some of the criticisms of Shula are too personal then you should absolutely be against these baseless leadership assertions about Newton that have been festering for the last 7 years.
