Person is a  middle-aged man who spikes his hair with gel.  When he asks a question, the entire room hesitates for a few seconds in order to reconnect with the intelligence they temporarily lost in an attempt to drop to the level of the question in order to understand its meaning, only to find there was none.

Revoking the press pass of someone from the largest newspaper covering the Panthers is an awful idea. Teams have done similar in the past and it always go really, really poorly. The rest of the media who might even hate Person will still take it as a shot at their profession then they would all make the Panthers the enemy. I know most of you probably think they are already treated that way but the Charlotte media is a joke compared to the major markets where the claws are always out.

Darin Gantt got his pass essentially "revoked" and was reassigned to the Winthrop Women's Volleyball beat in 2010 after he accused Fox of mutiny by starting Brian St. Pierre over Tony Pike. If the Panthers don't want you in that media room all they have to do is make one phone call. JR practically owns the observer considering the only reason most people still buy the local paper is to read the sports section. They've left Jourdan alone because they want that story to die and stay dead, but if it's going to be a problem she won't be around much longer. Person probably came close with his report on LaFell's child payment situation and I'm sure he was warned never to do that kind of thing again. It's hard for a local newspaper to hire anyone worth a crap and if someone is any good they are scooped up by a bigger publication quickly (see Jonathan Jones).
