We already had a promising young kicker on our roster/practice squad that we squandered away.

Now we’ve got this bum.

No poo. I wanted to keep Butker too, but that ship has sailed. This is a practice squad signing, not something for everyone to lose their poo over.

I think folks are pissed about the mishandling of that situation from the getgo, but I digress.

Hope Aguayo pans out honestly, it’s all mental.

Agree, it is a PS signing.  But it goes to show you how stupid Hurney is.  Nobody wants or needs a PS kicker.  No other teams have kicker on their PS.

Why do we?

I'm all for 'change of scenery' attempts when it's a practice squad signing. That's where someone who's done nothing but suck in the NFL should go to try and 'get right.' If this were a 'change of scenery' signing like Matt Kalil or David Carr, then I'd have a problem with it. It'd be great if this kid could figure things out and go on to be a good kicker for us. Not likely, but it costs us nothing to try.
