If this was true Arians will probably hang it up. Great coach but he's 65 and just beat kidney cancer time to relax.And he he would go to the Colts where he was head coach of the year with Andrew Luck

Careful what you wish for. Though I do believe that the lack of diversity in coaching opinion of Cam has stunted his growth as a player; I'd be all for him coming in as a coordinator.

How many times did Dick Vermeil say it was probably going to be  his last season coaching? The man just loves to coach Football. I bet he'll end up as a HC somewhere else and if it's not the situation he wants he'll quit.  He's too old to rebuild a franchise, he's ready to win a SB and I would like for him to come here to do it. It's the perfect situation for Arians to do just that but would Richardson hire him? Probably not. It'll probably be some other San Deigo guy like Norv Turner. Which is okay but it damn sure ain't Arians. I want Arians because he's gonna get into somebody's ass for not doing their job. He's got BALLS, something Rivera doesn't know wether he had or not. Such a sad situation we have with the owner though, you're right about that.

Some fans on this ridiculous board think it's like madden or fantasy coaching... like we can just go out and get good coaches. A good coach wants control of the players running his system, thus we'd never get Harbaugh or Arians in this lifetime, a good GM wants control over the staff he has under him and overall control of the team. Sad to say, but as long as JR is alive, we won't have a solid GM, and we won't have a agressive that will whip the players into shape and demand excellence. It's like a never ending rant, but I'm glad we agree lol
