Question about Rivera.....

Everyone says that he should be a DC instead of a HC. Being a linebacker during his playing days and involved with the defensive side of the game as a coach, this is obviously true. Then why can he not see how opposing defenses are ripping up the offensive game plan. You would think he would  understand what they are doing and plan/adjjust accordingly. 

Either he doesn't want to step on toes with the OC or he just doesn't kmow how to adjust the offensive game plan. Years of experience on the defensive side of the ball, (both playing and coaching), should have provided him with valuable insight on this.  Opinions please...

For a guy who played on that Bears defense you would think he has some answers.
