Chandler Riggs (Carl) wanted off the show, and that the show writers gave in and wrote him/killed him off either on the midseason finale or second half premier.

 

These are still just what they are, rumors, but apparently there are some sort of indicators that it could be rooted in truth.

 

 

 

So, I will probably just stop watching if this is true. I know I said I wouldn't, but it would be pretty pointless at that point.

I still don't know if I believe the rumors, so I'll have to wait and see, but LOL if true.

I don't think it impacts TV like the comic if true.  Only ones that view that character as a strong focal point are those who are bringing the comic baggage into TV land IMO. 

I mean, per comic fans some of the greatest characters......simply suck to TV only viewers.  Then of course one of the TV's biggest and most favorite characters doesn't even exist in the comic.  Just plays out different.  I would have no problem with it.....if done right.  

However, if that were true.  I would suspect TV would screw up how they did it.

Herschel, Glenn, Michonne, Maggie, Jesus, Rick, Morgan all simply suck to tv viewers?

Or did they just poo the bed when it came to casting characters like Andrea?

Also, Carol exists in the comics, she just died during the prison arc, and Daryl is just some sad fug wish fulfillment for beta incels.

i liked Andrea's casting. really the only casting i haven't liked is Negan with his fuging retarded melty spine flopping around.

I can't complain nearly as much about JDM's portrayal as I can the handling of the character by the writers.

Mainly talking about how awesome comic fans have discussed Carl and Negan (IMO they have the biggest gap in terms of comic view vs TV view)

TV viewers and ones that read the comic IMO clearly view the future importance of people different IMO.

but the writers are fuging everyone's characters up at this point so it doesn't even matter

But TV fans really don’t have that character background to form opinions off of.....they just know Negan as what the TV writers have done with him.   All Negan is to them is TV Negan.  TV Negan clearly doesn’t hold the water as comic Negan per talk

I got nothing but love for JDM.  Based on the Negan hype and casting I thought it would be an awesome character. 

I think less is more with TV TWD villains.  Hell the claimer leader probably was the best overall TV villian to date and we barely saw him or knew him is probably why.

TV Dwight is overall just a weak bitch.  His old lady had more balls and was tougher. 

Another example of you acting like we should like a character more.....simply because you like the comic character. 

Sounds like they took all the cool stuff you like about D and gave it to Daryl.  Now you have 2 crappy characters
