The reason why it's not going to get better.

Before the Eagles game I said that Shula needed to evolve the offense and take advantage of our strengths and there weaknesses. Short passes, more screens, dink and dunk ball control offense. Use Samuel as a deep threat and on screens, use McCaffrey on screen play and short routes, give up on Stewart and the non existing run game.

Flash forward to today and not only have we not evolved to play to our strengths but we have doubled down on our weaknesses. We run power I with McCaffrey and he gets hurt as a result, We hurt two of our oline because we are doing something we are not good at, Kalil goes down again, and we don't even score a TD with more than a week to prepare. We have a coaching staff that can't adjust to the players they have. Cam will never be a game manager, we don't have the line to run the power run game, and we need someone to figure this out. Unless we evolve (and we won't) I suspect we will be picking high again next year with Hurney at the helm once again. There's not much to be hopeful for at this point.

Scary thing is, Shula and crew has ten days to gameplan for the bears. We scored three points.

Perfect scenario where someone needs to be fired, but it wont happen. Im pretty much completely done with staff after today. I dont care where we finish.

We only face one more formidable defense the rest of the way in the Vikings.

Once Cam actually has breathing room, we'll do fine.

I don't really count on that. We have bigger problems than just a average offense vs a good defense.

I called all of this on draft night. We are finishing 4-12. Richardson wont fire anyone just let their contract run out.
