We do more short passing this year, which works occasionally but the margin for error is slim with our personal, hence the increase turnovers. Still not building the team to cams strengths, deep threats and doing anything to improve the running game.

When we use a short passing game consistently its effective. These past two weeks though we have reverted back to running the ball and taking deep shots. Probably because Rivera thinks it's helping. This system is super complex with plays that don't work.

Can't pass the ball too frequently with this oline, it's a catch 22, as far as deep routes I'm not sold we're running more of them but if a receiver has 1 v 1 coverage with no safety it's a given that we take a shot deep, which has been the case the last two games when facing an 8 box front. Short passing works but we've had at least 4 or more turnovers recently when going short

We have totally reverted back. You can pass all you want it's about keeping the DEs guessing. Then you can set up the run off the pass. As of right now no team thinks we will pass to score and there right. They aim to stop the run on any down that is less than 2nd and 14.

We lit the pats and det up through the air and the eagles last Thursday still stacked the box, no wr on the team scares the other team. It's just going to be hard putting points up points on top defenses, who can effectively stacked the box and leave there cb's 1v1 vs our receivers. No scheme is gonna help that

Wrong, Samuel was getting it done so was McCaffrey but the fact is this. It doesn't matter what players we have if the DC knows what we are running. We consistently have to dig out of 3rd and 16 or worse. It's bad coaching all around.
