Why are we still wasting multiple timeouts to prevent delay of game penalties week in and week out?

I think it has a lot to do with a inept OC.  But at the end of the day it falls at the HCs feet for not rectifying this problem years ago

Not having a time out for the end of the half may have lost us the game. 17-10 halftime score changes the complexion of the second half.

Ron has no clue how to fix it. He doesn't have answers. He should be done.

DG, I think, would have at least sat Ron down, and asked him what JR asked Hurney many moons ago.

How are you going to fix this.  Were he to respond with "I don't know" like Hurney did...he should be shown the door.

 

Like I said in my thread...no leadership on the team.

 

Oh, and to answer your question....I think it's a combo to be honest.

Whichever one it is, it ultimately falls on the shoulders of the head coach to oversee improvements, especially when it's a perennial issue. Ron Rivera runs a sloppy football program and we saw his lack of control manifest in full colors this afternoon. Ron Rivera needs to be held accountable for his perennial failures.

At this stage of Rivera's tenure, shoring up minor tweeks should be his focus.

I just feel going all in with Shula and letting Cam play with a bum shoulder bc "he wanted to prove his toughness" exposed the Rivera is just too passive of a coach. He should stride to evolve and innovate but seems to be doing his John Fox impersonation week to week. 

With all that he has been the franchise's best coach but the time may be here to start a new legacy. The change will just set the team back and I have no faith in Hurney/JR to get the right guy.
