So much for taking the load off of Cam

The last two games Cam has been the Panthers leading rusher. The result? 0-2.

No other quarterback in the league is asked to be a bigger contributor to the offense not even Aaron Rodgers.

CMC and Samuel were drafted to be playmakers and so far they haven’t lived up to that. Mccaffery has been a solid contributor, but he hasn’t been the dynamic playmaker he was billed to be.

Matt Kalil was brought in to improve the LT position, and he’s been a downgrade. We haven’t been solid at the position ever since Gross retired. That falls on the front office.

Yes Cam has made many mistakes this season, but the coaching staff and his supporting cast hasn’t made it easy on him. This isn’t to make any excuses for Cam, but Shula rarely puts him in positions to be successful and when he does Cam has to be perfect to take advantage of the rare good Shula call.

The Panthers are simply too heavy for Cam to carry on his own. He needs help.

-Bad offensive line

-Bad offensive coordinator

-Lack of playmakers

-No rushing game

The problem is that the load can’t be taken off of Newton, because he’s the only reason we are ever competitive. Major changes need to be made.

THAT is the most important part of the whole thing. The coaching staff has been bad, especially Shula and the offensive staff. The OL is horrid and CMC doesn't appear to be an NFL RB. Cam is one of the best players in years in the NFL when he's on but when he's off he is BAD. I'm concerned hes too beat up to play to his best ability but he still has to be held accountable for his mistakes too for us to improve.

Every qb makes mistakes. We just aren’t good enough around him to win when he does.

runs up the middle over and over makes it easy for the other guy.

Now I'm not a professional or anything, just high.

For example, the Bengals (who l hate) crappy offense of line, like the Panthers. However and receivers are better and running backs are better and their quarterback is a lot better. They're getting creative with play-calling on offense kind of hanging in there with Pittsburgh, a much better team. We have to get better on first down play calling. Cam is having to carry the entire offense, which is unacceptable.

Serious question: Did anybody TRULY believe Shula would really evolve this offense? Did people truly believe Shula was capable of building an offense that didn't have to rely on Cam running?

The thing is, is that it has "evolved."

Definition of evolve:

develop gradually, especially from a simple to a more complex form.

Our offense has gotten more complex, and is a different form than before, but with much much sh*ttier results.
