Gettleman left us with one last “FU” this offseason

And how exactly is that a reach? I'm telling the truth. Hurney was the one in charge at training camp and he was the once who made the decision on our final roster. He had the opportunity to try and sign somebody after camp like other team did but didn't sign anybody to help. He was also responsible for us keeping 2 kickers on the roster as well. Time for people to wake up and start putting blame where it belongs. Like I said Gettleman isn't without blame but you and other guys on here are blaming him for poo that just doesn't make sense.

Lol at all the people bringing up Gettleman right now. Remember that Gettleman was let go before training camp which means that he had nothing to do with the final roster for this team. We went through training camp with Hurney at the GM position. That means that he was responsible for cutting down the team and then for post training camp free agency as well. Is Gettleman guilt free...no most certainly not but what is on the field right now is just as much Hurney since he has done very little to help the same things you people are bashing Gettleman for. Oh and for the people talking poo about CMC, he is an amazing player but nobody could run the ball efficiently behind the Oline we have right now with the terribly predictable play calling from Shula.

He had all to do with the final roster Who the hell drafted  on his watch ??

FUN FACT: Our 2 second round picks have contributed absolutely nothing so far this season. One looks lost and the staff seems to absolutely refuse to play the other.

We had 2 guys go down at 2 different positions today on O line and subbed in amini for BOTH.

Ya all those bottom of the roster cuts from all those talented players Gettleman left Hurney is the difference right now...

Draft was over, FA was long done with please enlighten me, what exactly was Hurney supposed to do? If Hurney came in and traded a future pick for a player, you all would’ve brought out the pitchforks

Yeah draft was over, which many people were praising our choices, including some of which are now bitching about it. As for trading, depends on what he gave up. If he was a moron and gave up the first round pick like he has a history of doing then damn right I would be pissed. However if he thought things through and got us somebody that might be able to help this god awful OLine for a good price then hell no I wouldn't. I mean hell, Gettleman drafted us a Lineman, Moton, that with the limited time he has seen the field looks great but I'll be damned if the coaching staff actually give him a shot instead of Amini. That falls on Hurney to call up his coaches and have a little talk about putting out the best players for the job. Regardless, other teams have picked up players within the same time that Hurney has had that have contributed to their teams. As I said before and I repeat it once again Gettleman isn't without his fair share of the blame but to put everything on him is just plain shortsighted.

Hurney was hired July 19th by that time free agency was long gone.

Yeah there’s just a group of LT’s sitting on their couches right now ready to play! Especially after we just PAID one.

Hurney doesn’t choose who plays. That’s Rivera. You want Morton to play? Blame Rivera

You didn't read what I posted very well. I said post training camp and preseason free agency. Where other teams have picked up guys that have contributed or possibly even traded for them.

I do blame Rivera, always have and have been rather vocal on that but I'm also sitting here and watching our Interim GM and JR for that matter do absolutely nothing to make Ron feel enough heat to try and make a change. Anyhow think what you want to but regardless our current "leaders" of this team from the coaches and up aren't doing anything to help this team win now.

We ignored drafting for the o-line and now we're eating poo for it. We let Norman walk and we replaced him with Bradberry (not a play maker) and Worley (a play maker for the other team). Our offense is cripple, and our secondary is incapable of making plays. The key focus has to be fixing the o-line with the draft. There is no fixing this team this season.

I absolutely agree with this. In hindsight we have wasted three high picks in the last two drafts.  Mccafery, Samuel and Butler.  CMC is no better than Whitaker.

...the scheme makes him look pedestrian... if he was in New England he'd be a star...

Yep, should be Norman and Bradberry out there.

    • I like that a lot; Ware from Troy and also Khalil Mack who played at University of Buffalo
    • I remember the Huddle consensus over the course of last season and the previous one. Lots of Bryce is a bust, we should've drafted a 4th slot WR, should've kept Wilks, should've kept an armless Cam, etc etc. So... yea... already thought about that. I wouldn't trust the Huddle to detail my car, let alone run a multi-billion dollar professional sports team. 😛
    • bold prediction, I think Mike Green will be the best pass rusher in this class, and thats even with abdul carter.  He reminds me of demarcus ware, not just in size and prowess, but even coming from a Sunbelt school (Ware from Troy, Green from Marshall).  I think he is passionate about the sport where I think Carter as the physical freak might not have the heart.  Thats the guy Im sold on and am gonna hammer the table for, I know he's not projected 8, but he is projected like 12-13, so if a slide back can happen and we still get the guy I want, I'm 100% on board. All that said, it takes 2 to tango, I think the Cowboys are the tango-er.  IMO theres a VERY good shot that Jeanty is available at 8.  Why does that matter?  Not only do the cowboys NEED a runningback (dak sucks without a run game), but MORE importantly, gee where did Jeanty play in high school.....Frisco TX, literally Dallas Metro.  Soo, RB is a position of need and the best RB and most blue chip draft selection that  could improve the offense immensly played IN dallas metro AND will be in range for them to move up and pick?  Do ya think Jerry Jones is gonna just say no to the Jersey Sales?  Jerry might have sexually assaulted a woman and attempted to prevent black people from going to school, but he's no idiot (he is).  IMO, we get a good enough package, prlly their first and third,  maybe a conditional later and we move to 12.  We get Green, they get Jeanty, everbuddy happy.
