Gettleman left us with one last “FU” this offseason

That’s not a good stat, considering he barely has 300 yards receiving. We are force feeding him.

And his best game came in a blow out getting garbage time yards

Oh, I agree with you. CMC has all those receptions, yet his yardage is still relatively low. He's not breaking tackles or making people miss. There's no point in Cam continuing to force feed him the ball if that continues to happen. This offense is missing a speedy guy that can take the top off the defense. You have that, and the whole offense looks better. Ginn was absolutely necessary, and Gettleman low balled him.

Gman set this team up for failure and people won't admit it.  He refused to address the O Lone.  He let our only speed WR go.  He failed to fire shula after another terrible year last season.

2015 was luck.  We won 10 games by less than 6 poInts.  The rest was the standard under GMan.  Why people don't understand that is beyond me.

We blew a ton of teams out in 2015. The reason 10 games were won by less than 6 points is because of the conservative coaching staff which was enamored with blowing leads.

Exactly my fuggin point.  And gMan didn't see that it was a problem.  And that winning the division at 7-8-1 was a problem.  Or one and done in the playoffs was a problem.  People give him a pass when he allowed this staff to stay put.  Inexcusable.

I also have to put a lot of blame on JR for that. What GM would not want his own coaching staff and regime? I feel like GMan would have.

Rivera has coached through 3 different GMs

Not to mention the never ending stench left behind the Norman release.

His fanboys will never admit it, but he did a lot more long-term harm than he did good here.  Too bad JR waited to fire him until he had already done irreparable damage.

And again, for all of Hurney's fug ups, his players were the key cogs in Gettleman's winning seasons.  Gettleman's legacy is bad drafting after Star and KK and letting two of the best players at this franchise had ever had walk for nothing, all while getting a once-in-a-generation franchise QB get pummeled into the ground.

He didn't just ignored the secondary, he destroyed it. Never forget that Gettleman let the two best cornerbacks in the team history walk without offering them a contract.

Gettleman is part of the problem--no genius.

Who says JR gave DG free reign over the staff? Hint: he didn't.
