Once again, it is the offensive coaching staff.

The man bowls over 250 lb LBs... he leaps over DL at the goal line to score TDs... he takes to the air to touch the football to the endzone flag... he gets hit 30 times a game behind the poo of an OL he's required to work behind... he's the only player we can count on to score rushing TDs on top of being the only dependable runner for going on 7 full years now...

"too casual"

lol

If this poo wasn't real, somebody would have to fugging invent it.

Again....you missed my point.

I am not going to limit the blame to Shula. Our offensive line cannot execute run blocking at even an average level. We are trying hopelessly to be a power rushing team but with no power. That falls on not just Shula, but RR, our scouts, our old GM, and our o-line coach for fought to bring in certain players. Unacceptable. Clean house. Coaches go, scouts go, and we rebuild the o-line.

said the same thing 3 weeks back, but all the homers literally said it was an overreaction. Ron f-ing Rivera can't even tie his shoes during a game, let alone get his team together to kick an effing field goal.  Ron should have been fired before he got a chance to ruin one of the best teams in history.      poo on me if you want too, we were 15 and 1 with a head coach that doesn't know how to manage a clock or when to go for a field goal,  and oh yeah keeps shula around...   It was never Getlemen's or Hurney's job to fire Shula it has always been Ron.

Knowing this...which we have for several games now....I would have expected some adjustments to compensate for that.  How about using a fullback? How about having Cam roll out....move around instead of standing too long in a pocket that will collapse?  There is no answer for the other team stacking the box? Really?  Doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result is, well, you know.....

Stacking the box isn't that effective and can lead to huge breakout runs IF the o-line is a true power rushing monster. Like Jeff Otah at RT could swallow a player and block the view of the LB even against a stacked box and if D-Will made that one guy miss he was gone. We don't have a Jeff Otah. We're lacking the right linemen to rush as much as we need to and be effective. We're being forced to pass too much.

Honestly we just need to get the o-line fixed with draft/FA, but we have an idiot GM who doesn't know how to draft past the first round and makes terrible trades.. we are screwed as long as the coaching staff and GM are still here that's just the plain truth.

Gettleman was keeping everyone working hard and a little uncomfortable which is a good thing.  Now, nobody cares just like Hurneys first tour of duty.  Fire him first.

oh hell yea!  THIS

Daddy Hurney in the house = overpay for over the hill players and lackluster performance by all

you're going to start seeing some dudes rocketing onto IR if we lose next week

that's the hurney two-step.  setting things up nicely for the "well we had so many injuries, it's hard to win when you're down that many starters" speeches after the season

Shulas been coasting on the excuse train since he got here. I honestly can't figure out how he is still employed. Is he just such a nice guy that no one can give him any grief?

it seems like him and ron are a package deal.  and, as we know, JR isn't gonna pay somebody to go coach somewhere else, so i think so long as ron is here shula will be too.
