The Lions were Kaaya's original team. They waived him hoping to put him on the PS squad but we claimed him first. They are returning the favor.

Snagged him and kept him through the Detroit game, pulled Gilbert back before someone else could do it to us. Basically got some intel and a test drive on Kayaa. That's pretty good use of the practice squad spots.

Gilbert was fuging awesome in the preseason. He should've been on the roster to begin with along with Webb. DA should've been cut.

I disagree that he would have been safe on the PS  all season - He was good enough to be on Bellichicks super bowl team a couple years ago - I might not like BB but I respect his eye for talent.

Wait, I thought you criticized Hurney to begin with for signing him?  Now you are upset that another team claimed him?  

I swear I can keep up anymore.  Feels like CNN around here sometimes.  Let's just take whatever stance we can that allows us to trash Hurney.  It's a bottom of the roster move, every GM (including G-Man) makes them often.
