Scrambled Eggs

Who here incorporates eggs in their diet daily ?

I've been on a diet - I don't know if there is a fancy name for it but my diet has only consisted of scrambled eggs, steak, chicken, whole milk, and sometimes green beans, broccoli

If I start to get sugar cravings I eat 7-8 big spoon fools of peanut butter as I found eating peanut butter does nothing to my weight and tastes good and gives me healthy fat my body needs. If I'm still wanting to nibble on something after I eat some peanut butter I'll splash 4-5 table spoons full of natural buckwheat honey in a small dish and eat straight honey, then wash it down with some whole milk.

I've been 6'1 185 for ages, I was never fat but I was skinny fat. Now, by adhering to this diet (really not a diet just only eating healthy things I like) since about May I'm down to 170 and I look and feel better than ever before. I eat 8 or 9 scrambled eggs a day. Don't listen to anything bad out there on eggs. It's not true and can't be true.

If you make scrambled eggs along with some grilled chicken, or steak with some whole milk the staple of your diet you'll look and feel great. No chips or anything shitty. Only natural poo like Peanut Butter, Honey if you wan't to "junk out" - even milk. I used to slug it down like nothing, gallon done in 2 days, but now I'm at 2 cups MAX a day and sometimes I don't even go to it and just stick with water.

Caffeine has never, and never will be in any way shape or form part my diet. Was shocked to find about 90% of world population uses caffeine in some way daily.

I just think this day and age poo is stupid. Where, it's all about going to the gym, lifting weights and then going to the buffets after with a stupid fug post workout shake. Then thinking, well, I worked out yesterday and will again tomorrow so today I can eat this Burger King, or McDonald's - nah, fug that. Gyms are largely fuging pointless, having a good diet is way more important. I don't run or exercise at all but if you seen me in public you'd think I was a D1 soccer player.

Eat scrambled eggs. In large amounts if you so desire. They are so good, so light, so nutritious, they have no harmful affects anything out there saying they do is bullshit put out by people that instead want you to get your breakfast at fugin Taco Bell

(and drink at least a gallon of water a day)

(and if you buy anything other than whole milk, don't - out of all the places you could cut fat in your diet you choose to cut out the healthy fat in milk? LOL)

When the last time you had some blood work done?

BP & Cholesterol check?

You can be skinny and have high BP and high cholesterol.

They don’t call it the silent killer for nothing.

If that was my diet I would be monitoring my BP/cholesterol religiously

Idk what my cholesterol is, my BP is excellent

The cholesterol in eggs is good cholesterol. It eliminates bad cholesterol and doesn't do any bad

Seriously man, your diet sounds like someone took an 8-year old's favorite meals and just went stripped down versions of them. Basically you're doing chicken fingers, breakfast eggs, beef, and peanut butter and honey sandwiches without the bread. Oh yeah and chugging the milk and eating a green vegetable once in a while when Mom makes you.

There are some serious holes in your nutrition there and a few very worrisome parts to it. I'm not one who should be giving nutritional advice, but I can see you are way over on fat, protein and cholesterol, probably too heavy on iron and calcium and woefully lacking in vitamins and fiber. Really, if you want to stick with that diet, please get your cholesterol checked on a regular basis. The human body builds most of its own cholesterol and you are literally power-chugging the ingredients for it, with no fiber or vitamins to help cleanse it out and regulate the system.

Your diet, from what you've described, doesn't seem to have any antioxidents in it which could be a ticking time bomb, especially if there is any history of cancer in your family. Combine that with a lack of fiber (soluble and non-soluble) and you're on a fast track to heart disease, too.

You've obviously got commitment to your health, so you've got the right foundation, but I'd suggest cut back on the eggs (or just do the whites mostly) and supplement in some green leafy vegetables, beans and good grains. Eggs are close to a perfect food, but too much of a good thing can go south pretty fast, yanno?

I am sick of fuggin eggs with this low carb + fasting diet, but thank god for em.

Man I love them. I just fry mine over medium in Kerry Gold or a locally made Amish butter. I’ve eaten a whole dozen over the course of a day on more than one occasion. Can’t argue against low carb though, we know it works. I have completely changed my doctor’s opinion on it and she actually recommended it for my brother to lose weight and improve his BP.

Here, this helps a lot to change it up a bit.

And these will change your outlook. If you like pancakes and sausage. I add cinnamon and use no syrup.

I add salt and pepper to my eggs, I'm to the point now where I got into a habit - I need my eggs daily and I look forward to eating them .. whole foods are used for energy immediately by the body, I feel like everything I eat is burned up and out of my system very quickly, none of the food I eat "stays" on me

    • I don't know about you but I have been a life long Chiefs fan for the past 4 years.
    • Sure there's a ton of transplants in Colorado now. But as far as Denver in particular goes the Broncos have also been around for 65 years. Someone moving to Denver is going to be far more likely to become a fan of the Broncos and even attend games versus someone moving to Charlotte and the Panthers. Like I said it's not just one single thing with us it's multiple factors.
    • He's definitely getting better. It's fun to watch.  I've been getting killed for this take, but with the current state of college football, it just takes more time to develop a quarterback. I don't think it's a plug and play position anymore. I'm really not sure if it ever was. NFL offenses have always been substantially more complex than the college game, and the college game has simplified even more in recent years. Many college teams do not have a physical playbook anymore. That's just not the national football league.  Are there freaks who have success from day 1? Yes, without question. But so many of those guys are runners, and so many of those guys tail off. Is Bryce ever going to be Josh Allen? Probably not.  What I am seeing is a guy with complete command of the offense. He's checking into things at the line, making adjustments, and making timely throws.  He goes to David Moore a ton, because Moore is a consistent route runner. Bryce knows where he is and when he should be open. I think the guy with the "super processor" needs to be comfortable in the offense in order to do the "super processing." He doesn't have elite arm talent, and he is small of stature, but if he makes the smart play consistently, and he's willing to throw the ball downfield and not make mistakes, like he's starting to show, he's going to be a starter for a long time in this league, and it's not a position I'd spend draft capital right now.
