For those with game pass. Were we running on heavy or light boxes?

I have never seen a more horrendous running game than I saw on Thursday night. We were literally going backwards every run play.

I am of the thought you need to run on light boxes and pass on heavy boxes. ie Advantage vs Disadvantage

Phi had to be super aggressive in run D. We should have done more play actions or shotgun delayed HB handoffs.

Heavy boxes,  single high safety.  None of our WR's have the speed to scare anyone.  Philly's DB's played well, however usually by the time the opportunities showed up, our Oline had broken down.  Mainly, our interior let us down big time.  The wide 9 Philly was playing was handled pretty well when started chipping, however the Philly DT's especially Cox at our guards and especially our center alive.

They were winning in both the numbers game and the push game on running plays. Basically, they did to us what New Orleans did -- sell out against the run and dared Cam to beat them through the air. Cam did move the ball in the passing game and had some successes but just like New Orleans did, Philly was able to have a more balanced and effective attack. Just a bit more, but it was enough.

The interceptions were disastrous and only marginally Cam's fault, but the blame in the running game falls on a lot of shoulders.

We really need to hit on a couple deep shot to keep teams honest.

Ginn was perfect for this Shula offense.  Take 4 deep shots during the game.  Even if he only comes close to catching 2, the defense has to start pulling back incase of the big play.  Opening up the box

NO, NE and Detroit didn’t really stack the box like the Bills or SF. Philly stopped  our running game mainly with their front 4.

if I remember correctly NO was using 3 safeties, NE rarely puts 8 in the box against any team

why not go 3-4 wide and force them to remove a LB and spread them out. Then run on them when they are defending the pass.

They pretty munched played safety in the box all day and dared us to beat them with our oversized WR which we didn’t. We need speed on the field stop trying to make KB & Funchess into something they aren’t it’s waste of snaps .
