There really isn’t supposed to be anything complicated here. Stuff any o-line should be expected to make.

Yet comically our o-line fails.

The good news is that this horrible run blocking doesn't figure to keep up. Eventually I know we'll be the well oiled machine on the ground we are supposed to be.

I think it soon may be time for Moton to take over a starting spot on the line

Execution. It's not that it's predictable you must be challenged.

It's no secret we want to ground and pound, when we are good, teams know we're going to run the ball and we still do it effectively.

You know what you can drop the insults.  Minus 1 inch per attempt is extremely effective.  You sir are a genius.

BIN-FUGGIN-GO

The line clearly is confused about what they should be doing.

SIMPLIFY!!!!!

I called for this weeks ago.

So why does Matsko get a pass on them being confused? From everything I have heard, he is well respected by the players but he was fired from Baltimore wasn't he?  I have never read anyone blame him for anything but he has one job.

It's funny to read Shula is too predictable and then, run game is too complex all at the same time.

1. #60 just got tossed like he wasn’t there by a LB...

2. Larsen...

3. Shula

4. Kalil

5. Probably Shula.  Kalil was on someone and even if Dickson went left instead of right, he wasn’t gonna block that guy that already had momentum. He woulda just got blown up into Stewart.

6. Kalil ragdolled, Turner didn’t get his man.

7. Manhertz

8. Shula then Larsen

Football is like Baseball in that as a baseball player your batting avg. is always a work in progress - right now our run game is batting under .200 but I'm confident we'll make adjustments, tweak some things and we'll be a .300 hitter on the ground at some point this season.

4-2 and we have an abysmal run game. I'll take it. If you told me we would have no run game before week 1 I wouldn't think we'd be 4-2 through 6 weeks.

We don't have a 64. Is it 60 (Williams)? The one that the LB just pushed to the side?

Perhaps simplify the run blocking and add a lead fullback. Also find the best blocking TE you can find in the draft or FA.

*sigh*

Thus the reason why I wanted George Kittle BAD......Really Badly in this draft.

Our #2 TE is essentially a H-Back lining up in the backfield blocking instead of a FB, Dickson is a solid route runner and pass catcher so Good at filling in for Olsen's role but when he has to lineup back there and block he looks lost.

Cant change the past.......but Man would it have been nice to have this dude back there vs Dickson or Manhurtz

    • I maybe huffin the hopuim too much for the defense during 2 games winning.   If DJ played like that each game(??), DBrown, Turlte, ARob(who's been like Dbrown), clowny   That's a solid front 5, or is it too much homer huffin??   Then Jewell and Shaq   Again solid, not trash or elite.   Horn(heathly) Mike Jackson. Dane Jackson, Woods, and Fuller   I swear the "solid" enough feels are here again   Of course Id love to drop a elite edge and have DJ come off the bench or another stud CB, but I swear if that group was 100% healthy I feel they'd be around 18th best. (yes still need a true NT).  Please correct me.
    • You are probably right, but as long as he goes to Dallas, and not here, it will be fun to watch.  Or better yet, New Orleans.
    • And it just made sense after spending on the guards to shore up the interior for years. Instead they took an injured player at a position they were set at. Panthers gonna panther
