I feel hopeless...

We actually went through every first down play yesterday and you would be surprised how many were pass plays - even before they abandoned the run. Sure felt like a Stew run every first down but it was far from it.

It's the fact that they kept going back to it. Sometimes you have to commit to moving the ball not running it.

I want both Rivera and Shula gone, but I'm not going to stress myself out over it. Only JR can do something about it. Hopefully, he wakes up sooner rather than later and realizes that this coaching staff is HORRIBLE.

JR probably needs a Bojangles sweet tea IV to keep him awake long enough to make a personnel decision.

The final step is acceptance.  The Panthers are a mediocre team, always has been and always will be.  They have an owner who wants everyone to be happy and friendly at all costs, even promoting a culture of losing.  This team will never sniff another SB under this management and coaches.  Accept it.

The one hope and bright spot out of last year was I thought he would get the axe.

Terrible bad as it gets year and nope he is retained.

Feel like we are forever going to be solid with some good and not so good years. Enough to keep everyone year after year.

With Ron and the defense always being stout, just dont see how we can get rid of Shula.

I can not in anyway envision us winning a superbowl with Shula calling plays.

POWER RUN!

EVOLUTION!

TIME OF POSSESSION!

FIELD GOALS!  (OR NOT!)

PUNTS (AND NOT FIELD GOALS)!

I totally get it.  I was at the game and this loss hurt a little more I think because Eagles fans are especially annoying.  And Shula should have been gone a long time ago.  That being said, we played a sh***y game and still almost won.  4-2 is not a bad spot to be at all.  After our first two games I never thought we'd be here.  Still a lot to be hopeful for.

They threw 52 times - they did end up abandoning the run

Yes they threw a bunch but they didn't abandon the run. They put themselves in long distance situations where they had to throw. It's still why you should have had CMC in there not Stewart. Eagles had a great line with fast Lbs. What's the point of having a back like Marshall Faulk if you don't use him. Personnel choice was more of a problem than game plan if you ask me.

i think it was a bit of both....or rather a lot of both.

game plan should have been adjusted when it was obvious it wasn't working. it took too long. commitment to the run and stewart's involvement was a problem. neither was working and we should have moved on quickly.
