My guess would be that the old man had some choice words for the girl. People from the NE and especially Philadelphia don't hold back when it come to foul language and it's just a part of everyday life and nothing to even raise an eyebrow.  Country boy took it too seriously.  It makes me sick to watch that. I hope that butthole is proud of himself and spends his day in jail.

General Eagles fan deserves it. I really don't ever want another thursday night game ever again. We'll finish 14-2 with the two losses coming from utter bullshit (kneel weekend and a thursday night game).

When I go on road trips, I know I'm sitting in enemy territory.

I find the closest, biggest opposing fan around me and buy 'em a beer right at the start.  Have never, ever had a problem (even when I'm the only Panther fan around in the section).

I have no idea why this concept is so difficult to understand, but apparently it is.

The guy will be charged with assault could be jail or probation depending on a number of things. He will also be shamed countrywide.

I assume the victim is already lawyered up and ready for a civil suit.

The cops can also use the panthers and ticket exchanges to confirm who this guy is unless he bought tickets outside of the stadium.

It's disappointing to me that some people seem to think that sucker punching an older gentleman who is sitting down and clearly not posing any threat is justifiable because he pointed a finger at someone.
