Matt Kalil's abhorrent run blocking.

I just wish we would give Moton a shot at one of these positions on the line that keeps crumbling faster than cookies in milk. Can't be any worse but Ron wants "familiarity" or whatever words he described it, I think last season, when he made excuses for the poor play. I don't see how it would hurt to try starting him in place of some of the other garbage blocking I've seen so far. All I can say is that I don't know what to say about Kalil. One game he plays terrifically and makes people talk up his performance and then the next he reverts back to being terrible. He is better than Remmers I'll give him that but he has the same issue as he does.

It is overly complicated for the sake of complication. Honestly, if the team would just try an i formation with a fullback and a helmet on a helmet straight up , they likely would be having more success. At the very least they would wear down the defense. Right now they are doing neither.

You are so right. I have no idea what they are doing and neither do they

why the fug are we not passing to set up the run at this point

because stewart is the starter and he has to be the guy on the field on first downs because you run the ball on first down....without question. that's just the way you do it.

or some conventional regurgitated poo like that.

Because if you throw on first down and it's incomplete, you put yourself in second and ten.

It's much smarter to run, lose yards every time, and be in second and fifteen

I saw Eagles CB's playing off at-least 5 yards most of the game. Cam/Shula has to see that and audible and just pass to the WR. We can get at-least 2-3 yards on 1st down. Why no roll outs on 1st down? Those stopped runs really hurt us forcing 2nd and longs

hey....you got to stick to your guns, amiright?

you know...dig your heels in the ground. don't let anyone dictate what you are going to do. just make a plan and stick to it come hell or high water...stay the course. i mean what's the worst that can happen?

I really wish Shula would start just one drive by NOT fuging running right up the middle. I honestly think that 90% of all our offensive drives this season have started with a Stewart run up the middle for no gain. Every. Single. fuging. Time.

Stewart is slow, but stout. The genius OC and HC knew eagles D was fast and aggressive. So instead of using CMC and Payne, they pitch the ball to the slowest back four yards behind the line and scratch their heads. Blocking sux for sure, but those two didn't scheme proberly.

    • My issue too is form Icky to Hunt you would have had young studs under contract control for the next 3 years, unreal if you have that on a NFL team.
    • I maybe huffin the hopuim too much for the defense during 2 games winning.   If DJ played like that each game(??), DBrown, Turlte, ARob(who's been like Dbrown), clowny   That's a solid front 5, or is it too much homer huffin??   Then Jewell and Shaq   Again solid, not trash or elite.   Horn(heathly) Mike Jackson. Dane Jackson, Woods, and Fuller   I swear the "solid" enough feels are here again   Of course Id love to drop a elite edge and have DJ come off the bench or another stud CB, but I swear if that group was 100% healthy I feel they'd be around 18th best. (yes still need a true NT).  Please correct me.
    • You are probably right, but as long as he goes to Dallas, and not here, it will be fun to watch.  Or better yet, New Orleans.
