The whole fuging point is nobody did their job last night. No one. And that's a product of Thursday night football. Get this poo the fug outta here!!!!

Cam gave his 100% even if he missed some throws. He hung in the pocket and fought for extra yards throughout. His body took some punishment as a result. I feel like Kelvin had a positive game and CMC was reliable on passing downs.

And the Eagles sure played well. So I'm not buying your point.

If y'all do not know it yet, Rivergoat sucks.  Just watch the last play of the first half and think, Gano hits the uprights on a kickoff--that means he is capable of kicking a ball 75 yards through the goal posts.  From the 35, a kick travels 65 yards to the goal line, and then add the 10-yard endzone.  His leg is that strong.  Instead, when we could end the half with a 58 yard fg attempt when there was no wind, we decide to throw a 20-yard hail sally from the 39 yard line.

If Gano hits that FG, we are 2 points down late--not 5.  Big difference.  I  could not believe that we did not kick a FG there.  That was more than stupid--

Strategically, we are not beating anyone.  Game management, we will always come in second.  This is embarrassing.

You can't directly correlate a kick-off to a field goal attempt. Whole different scenario.

Actually, the point was that he has a strong leg and the fact that he can do that is evidence of it.  I do not think I suggested that he try 70 yarders.  I used to be friends with an NFL kicker (played college ball with him) and he could not kickoff 75 yards without wind behind him.  The point was leg strength, and maybe I did not make it well.

He should have been given a shot at a 58 yarder.  As they say on Wall Street  and in poker, "scared money makes no money."  Why was Rivera scared of that kick?

Make no mistake despite the players lack of execution at times we could have still won.  This loss fits squarely on Rivera and Shula's shoulders.  Whats new?  When we win, we win in spite of them, not because of them.  When we lose its usually because of them.  How the hell did we go from Foxball to this garbage?  Might as well just kept Fox.  We did nothing to change anything when hiring Rivera.  More of the same.  It was pointless.  Our owner needs to own it, fire Rivera and crew and bring in a coach who has guts and leads by example.  The next coach needs to be an offensive genius to get the most out of our franchise QB who has been wasted for the most part for going on 7 years.

Did he say anything about whatever the fug that was at the end of the half when he didn't even try a FG?

According to Nance and Romo on NBC, Gano was on the field for the FG attempt and they took him off. After the half, Gano went to the very spot where he would have kicked that 58-yarder, set the tee and the ball, kicked it and looked glaringly at the sidelines for a couple seconds.

That's all I needed to know.

you can't beat any team unless you put points on the board any way you can feasibly get them.

the coaching staff screwed the pooch and they aren't going to own it.

toss the whole lot of them out.

Eagles HC gets it... went for two instead of settling for one when the opportunity presented itself.

Anyone see Ron having the balls to try that?

Every point counts Ron, including the three you left on the field at halftime.

I don't think Gano is known as a reliable power kicker. It seems like we rarely go for FG's of 50+ yards and instead elect for punts netting 20 yards.

I saw today on twitter that RR claimed there was some sort of cross wind... but we all know what it was... RR can't get out of his own way and he's too conservative (scared) to do anything even remotely daring...

I'm not saying that would have made a difference in the outcome, but as someone else said...  being 2 down instead of 5 on that final drive could have made a difference.
