Football doesn't even matter, the team will keep playing. Next man up.  He should definitely worry about himself and figure out if his long term health is more important. Which it is.

I don't think he is big enough to play his position. He reminds me of a shorter version of John Lynch, only Lynch played safety. Same kind of ball skills and instincts, but Lynch could cover the entire field.  I think he should really sit down with his family and discuss his future.

He's taller than lynch.  I think he just play with such reckless abandon that he's at higher risk for these injuries.  Also, once you have the first concussion the subsequent ones tend to happen with less force.

Kind of? It's exactly like Dan Morgan haha. Sucks to see two great MLBs taken down by concussions

It is heartbreaking...another all-world linebacker that we are going to lose because of concussions. His life is more important than football. He should be immediately added to the staff as an assistant LBs coach.

It’s a bit odd to me because although I do see “reckless abandon” he is one of the best pure form tacklers Ive ever seen.. and the concussions I’ve watched,  it didn’t really involve a pure “head smash” from my perspective. 

I guess if your prone, there’s no solving that.

Maybe he is, but I would like to see them standing side by side. The point is that I actually don't think he is much bigger than Lynch, and he is playing a much more physical position.
